Program Changes

Waitlist
When a program meets its maximum registration, a waitlist will be created. If a spot or spots opens up, the first person on the list with the same requirement for spots will receive an email message. That person will have 24 hours to register. If that person decides not to register, or does not register within the 24 hour window, the next name on the list with the same requirement for spots will receive the message, again, with a 24 hour window to register. These emails are automatically generated by the system.
Do I get reimbursed if one session is cancelled?
There are times when organizers must cancel an individual session due to inclement weather, instructor- or facility-related conflicts. When this happens, every effort will be made to reschedule the cancelled program, otherwise you’ll be given a credit on your account for future use. Effective September 01, 2018, credits no longer be extended, however, refunds would be made available. The onus is on the registrants.
What if the program I have registered for is cancelled?
If your program is cancelled, you can request a refund. The H&R MFRC reserves the right to cancel any program or to change times and/or locations. Do not wait until the last minute to register, as programs with low registration may be cancelled!
Will I get a refund if I choose to withdraw from a program?
You will not be reimbursed if you choose to withdraw from a program. This is also true for events requiring the purchase of a ticket. Should you not use your ticket(s), you will not be reimbursed.
If you register online, you are able to cancel online, however, you will not be reimbursed, as above.
Special requirements or special needs
The H&R MFRC accepts and welcomes military family children and adults of all abilities. We believe that all individuals deserve an environment and experiences that promote growth in all areas of their development. Our programs and services endeavor to provide for the full inclusion of individuals and families with unique needs; some reflecting their family’s background or culture.
Financial considerations
The H&R MFRC is committed to providing access to the military families we serve. We work on a case-by-case basis, so please call us to discuss what assistance the H&R MFRC could potentially provide.
Returned Cheques
If your cheque does not clear, you will be required to pay an administrative fee and any associated NSF fees. An alternative method of payment will be required before continuing with the program.
Methods of Payment
Registration will not be accepted for a program until payment is made in full.
Privacy
Personal information collected from families for service delivery, reporting, audit, evaluation, and statistical purposes is entered into a client relationship management software platform: Penelope. Family members accessing programs and services are required to give consent for their personal information to be collected and retained.
By using the website, I confirm that I have read and understood the PRIVACY NOTICE and CONSENT STATEMENT explaining the purposes for which the H&R MFRC is collecting my information and I consent that the H&R MFRC may use and retain my information for these purposes.
